Planet health is human health
Our Earth-Focused Principle
1. Planet before profit
2. Reduce waste and consumerism where possible
3. Make the planet better by existing - neutral isn’t good enough
We believe that optimal health is derived from a symbiotic relationship between human and planet health.
This is more than just a range of health products; this is a community of forward thinkers, action-takers, and voices. We are committed to creating a more sustainable and healthier world for us, the planet and its species — one choice at a time.
But, how are we actually putting the planet first?
- Compostable pouches
- Free packaging return envelopes to ensure it composts
- Packaging from recycled & FSC certified paper
- Planting a tree for every person who joins our mailing list
- Part of 1% For The Planet ⌝
- Investing in biodiversity projects
- Making all our sustainable startup initiatives available to help other startups
- Pushing out content and building a community around human and planet health

Circular Health™
Sustainable packaging
100% compostable
FSC certified
Plant-based pouch
Our packaging is made from FSC certified paper and fermented plant sugars derived from corn starch, making it 100% plant based and therefore, 100% compostable.
As there are very few industrial compostable facilities in the UK, with every order we send, we supply a free return label so our packaging can make its way home to us and be compostable responsibly in our local facility.
30% recycled material
Reusable
Glass bottle
Our retap bottle is made of pure laboratory-grade, 30% recycled borosilicate glass to the highest hygienic and environmental standards and is dishwasher safe.
Why glass? Well, production requires fewer natural resources, it does not release harmful chemicals into the environment, it can be recycled indefinitely without losing quality or purity and is more durable than plastic.
100% recycled material
FSC certified
Packaging
Our delivery box is made from 100% recycled corrugated board with alternative, non-toxic vegetable inks that are rotary printed to use 30% less ink than standard printers.
Our monthly paper mailers are made from a mix of recycled and FSC-certified paper, making them fully recyclable.
Please reuse our packaging to send us back your pouch for composting!
Composting your FND pouch
1 Compost at home...
Composting requires time, heat, and microorganisms to work. Heat is a big factor, as the hotter the environment, the quicker materials break down.
For PLAs to biodegrade the temperature needs to be 60°C to 71°C. In a backyard compost pile or bin, temperatures can vary, but the range is generally between 32°C to 60°C. Therefore it is unlikely you'll be able to compost this at home, but by all means try.
2 Industrially compost
Currently, there are only 18 industrial composters in the UK. If you're near one, then great. However, if like most you're not, all our UK pouches are shipped with a free return to sender envelope. This allows you at no cost to return your empty pouch to us.
We've partnered with First Mile who'll arrange for it to be industrially composted ensuring it returns back to whence it came. 🌍 🤛
The horse we're backing
Drawdown
"The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming"
Project Drawdown refers to the reduction or removal of greenhouse gases, particularly carbon dioxide, from the atmosphere. This can occur through natural processes such as plant photosynthesis or through human interventions like reforestation, carbon capture and storage, or other technologies aimed at reducing atmospheric carbon levels.
Not only as a business, but as individuals, it is our mission to reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere to heal the earth and all of its species.
We can achieve Drawdown
Scientific analysis shows that the world can reach drawdown—the point in time when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline—by mid-century if we make the best use of all existing climate solutions.

Project 1 — ARR
Afforestation and reforestation
ARR is a climate solution which involves the planting (or assisting the natural regeneration) of trees and shrubs. It involves three main activities:
- ‘Afforestation’ refers to the planting of trees where there was no recent tree cover.
- ‘Reforestation’ refers to the planting of trees where there was recent tree cover which has been deforested.
- ‘Revegetation’ is an umbrella term which refers to the replanting and rebuilding the soil of degraded land.
Climate Solution #13
Degraded pasture and agricultural lands and other lands disturbed by uses such as mining are ripe for strategic planting of trees. Trees create a carbon sink, drawing in and holding on to carbon and distributing it into the soil.
Establishing tree plantations on an additional 112–174 million hectares of marginal lands can sequester 22.04–35.09 gigatons of carbon dioxide by 2050
